The Three Ships’ mural, the old BHS/Co-op building King Edward Street/Jameson Street

The glass mosaic mural was designed by Alan Boyson and unveiled in 1963. ‘The Three Ships’and 2 internal murals are under threat as the building faces demolition. This has inspired SHIPS in the SKY – a social history arts project led by Esther Johnson and Leigh Bird
