Amy Johnson Statue, Prospect Street and the Moths

‘A Moth for Amy’ (2016) was a large scale public art project involving 59 moths designed by different artists and placed in sites around Hull and region. Johnson’s plane was called Gypsy Moth.

During 2017 a replica of ‘Gypsy Moth’ by inmates from Hull prison was suspended from Paragon Station’s roof.
