Philip Larkin statue, Paragon Station

Larkin had a long career as a librarian at Hull University. The statue was unveiled in 2010 to mark the 25th anniversary of Larkin’s death in the same year a trail of 40 artist decorated toads were placed around the city to commemorate his poems ‘Toads’ and ‘Toads revisited’
